The Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop Is This Weekend!

Serenity Medical Spa loves the Lake of the Ozarks, and we are honored to be a sponsor for the 7th Annual Great Bagnell Dam Duck Drop.  This incredibly fun, family-friendly event raises money that always stays local and is divided between many non-profit organizations via the Ozark Kiwanis.  You can participate in a golf tournament, attend a carnival, and witness bunches of rubber duckies launched into the Lake of the Ozarks, racing for prizes.

The Cove at the Lodge of Four Seasons

A 4-person Scramble will take place on Friday, along with a hole in one contest for $25,000, a putting contest for $5,000, and lots of other course contests and special events.  You can register for the golf tournament online for $125 per person.  With your entry fee, you will get 10 Duck Drop tickets, breakfast at the Cove prior to playing, admission to the awards party at Savannah Grille after the tournament, and a bag full of goodies.

Beginning at 10:00 am, you can bring the kids for a morning filled with fun. Wristbands for activities are $5 per child, and there will be games, a dunking booth, bounce houses, martial arts and dance demonstration, food, and lots of prizes and goodies!  The Fun Zone will continue until 1:00 pm.

At high noon, all of the ducks that have been sold will cascade out of a helicopter from above and pontoon boats on the water to race for prizes.  The winning duck earns $5,000, and the next 7 to cross the finish line will win prizes too.  Winners will be announced at the Fun Zone and on Mix 92.7, and you do not need to be present to win.  You can find a list of places to purchase your Duck Drop tickets for $5 each at www.greatdamduckdrop.com.  They will be sold at the Fun Zone until 11:00 am.        


It's going to be an incredibly fun weekend to head to the Bagnell Dam Strip and watch the ducks drop.  The staff at our Lake of the Ozarks medical spa all hope that you have a great time, and we want to remind everyone to remember to wear sunscreen while you are out having fun in the sun.
